We provide professional, passionate and dedicated training before, during and after your course. We will continue to offer all the advise and help you need, for as long as you need. Snoworks GAP & Pro runs in conjunction with Snoworks Ski Courses, allowing you to have the chance to be submerged into the Snoworks programme and shadow our All-Mountain courses.
Lee Townend is a BASI trainer up to level 3, 18 winter seasons as an instructor under his belt and 8 years as Snoworks GAP director. Lee commits 110% to the students in their on and off snow training and facilitation. His passion and enthusiasm towards providing the highest quality training, enjoyment and student success is clear from the feedback, testimonials and results achieved.
Phil Smith is the managing director of Snoworks Ski Courses and co-director of Snoworks GAP & PRO instructor training programmes. With over 30 seasons’ experience he brings an unmatchable level of experience and knowledge to the company. Phil’s approach is a very physical, tactical and psychological one. This as you can imagine is a very fun, energetic and exciting way to learn and ski.
Rupert Goldring is a BASI trainer and examiner for level 1, 2, 3 & 4. He is also a member of the current British Interski team. He is co-director of a ski school in Val d’Isere, Mountain Masters. However, in the Autumn months we get Rupert’s wealth of experience her at Snoworks as he coaches our ISIA training program.
Dave joined the GAP training team last season and we had the best result we have had in 3 years! He is passionate and fully committed to help you every step of the way. Qualified to the highest BASI level. A wealth of knowledge as he has taught for over 30 seasons! And yet still smiles, and rips it every day! Off the snow Dave is a keen paraglider and cyclist.
In the past Nick Quinn was the technical director for BASI and this was an obvious attraction to having him work with us and the students here on the GAP courses. With over 14 seasons teaching in the Alps he brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and insane amounts of enthusiasm to every session he delivers. He also spent several seasons coaching junior skiers towards Scottish team selection.
Euan Gardiner is the newest member of our Snoworks GAP training team and joins us having worked for 8 years as a BASI level 4 instructor in La Plagne, and as a race coach for several junior clubs and teams. Euan started out as a ski racer in Scotland, then went to the New England Ski Academy in New Hampshire, USA racing at FIS level, he then worked his way through the BASI instructional system.
